Robert Leadbetter

A real estate fund and investment management specialist, Robert has a broad experience of originating and managing property investments across the risk spectrum.

Prior to joining Bidwells, Robert worked as a pan-European real estate fund manager for one of the ten largest real estate investment management firms in the world. He has managed both private and listed real estate funds, separate account mandates and joint venture investment programmes and has experienced the full cycle of investment from fund origination to liquidation.

Robert has active investment experience across the risk spectrum, from ground rents to ground-up development schemes across the UK and Europe. In 2026 Robert launched Bidwells Investment Management LLP, a subsidiary entity of Bidwells and appointed representative of Langham Hall Fund Management LLP, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Bidwells Investment Management provides a boutique, vertically-integrated investment and asset management platform backed by the depth and strength of the Bidwells Group.

As an alumnus of Queens’ College, Cambridge – from which he graduated with a Double First Class Honours degree – Robert particularly enjoys working with college endowment capital, and is a member of the Queens’ College Investment Committee in a personal capacity, and is a Fellow-Commoner of the College. He brings his long-term investment experience to the dedicated investment management team of the endowment property portfolio of Trinity College, Cambridge.
