With a Master’s in Building History from Cambridge, Sarah doesn’t just research a site’s past - she uncovers its character. Her work starts by asking what makes this place special, and from there she researches original plans, historic maps, and decades of alterations. Her passion lies in piecing all the pieces together to inform what happens next.
From early fee proposals to detailed heritage assessments, site visits, and advice that lands with planners, Sarah’s work is about more than compliance. It’s about demonstrating what is possible, and informing her clients where they need to tread carefully. Every report is clear, persuasive, and rooted in evidence.
Before retraining, Sarah developed strong organisational skills as an administrator and that experience is evident. She consistently meets deadlines, is highly dependable, and delivers reports that drive action.
Sarah is at her best when the brief is complex. When working on a a Grade II Listed mansion flat opposite the Royal Albert Hall, she guided her client through what could be adapted and what had to be preserved, balancing ambition with sensitivity.
Heritage isn’t just about preservation and Sarah ensures that buildings with history don’t lose their identity. Instead, they find new purpose, without losing their past.
